This long courtyard presented a number of challenges due to its narrow width, southerly aspect and poor drainage. From overgrown and hotchpotch, the space has been transformed into a clean and tidy area that is functional as another room for the family. Stone walling, vertical gardens, hardwood timber and lush planting work together to create a serene feeling and the illusion of space. Copper accent lighting throughout compliment these materials and create a real sense of ambience in the evening.
